Trump: Miss USA will keep title
In a surprise move, Donald Trump announced Tuesday that he will not fire the embattled Miss USA.
According to reports, Tara Conner's issues included substance abuse, failing to make Miss USA promotional appearances and nonstop nightclubbing at New York hot spots. Jon Decker reports.
Despite reports of alleged drug and alcohol abuse and indiscretions with men, the reigning Miss USA Tara Conner will keep her crown.
Pageant owner Donald Trump said the beauty queen will get a second chance.

"I believe she can be a great example for troubled people -- and she's troubled-- throughout this country, throughout lots of countries that have problems with alcohol- that have problems with life."

Conner, who turned 21 on Monday, reportedly tested positive for cocaine and moved out of her apartment in one of Trump's luxury buildings on Manhattan's Upper West Side late last week.

"I've had a very big blessing bestowed upon me and you will never know how much I appreciate Mr. Trump for saving me on this one."

Every Miss USA must sign a contract about what is expected of her during the year she wears the crown. Conner says she will now enter a rehab facility to deal with she called her "personal demons."
